The Council’s purpose is to serve federal acquisition professionals in a vibrant and engaged community by providing leadership and value through:

  1. Showcasing best practices and recognizing excellence in Acquisition Management;
  2. Advancing the acquisition professional development by providing seminars, webinars, monthly meetings, educational conferences, mentoring, networking and career opportunities;
  3. Engaging our members and providing practical experience through volunteerism;
  4. Enhancing the knowledge and skills of acquisition practitioners such that skills will serve as indispensable to the execution of agency’s strategies and mission success.
