For more than 50 years, the Combined Federal Campaign-- the largest employer-based fundraising program in the world--has provided Federal Employees with the opportunity to invest in improving the lives of the families, friends, neighbors and the community, both locally and globally. During the 2014 campaign, federal employees in the Eastern Pennsylvania & South Jersey Area contributed almost $2.88 million to non-profit agencies through the campaign, helping many agencies keep their doors open and their lights on, helping them continue to carry out their missions.
The CFC is one of the most efficient fundraising campaigns around the world and the Eastern Pennsylvania & South Jersey CFC is one of the most efficient campaigns in our the national campaign. Through the oversight of the Office of Personnel Management, annual independent audits and considerable budgetary review by the campaign managers, our administrative costs are approximately 9.5 percent each year.
That means, on average, $.91 cents of every dollar designated is directed to support the programs and services that change lives.
We are confident that the caring nature and general overall commitment of federal employees to support the community and the CFC will once again propel the campaign to greater heights.
